Well after a slow start to the day the wind kicked in, the guests started arriving and service resumed as normal.It wasn’t so sunny today hence the bad light in the pics but still it was another great day in paradise. We did some general checking of equipmnent, sail trimming and so on while there was no wind and then after the guests were all sorted and out on the water some of the team who either had a day off or have now started their annual holiday went out on the water so I asked Matrix if he would kindly drive me out to Manawa with my camera and the video to get some footage.

The waves in Manawa were very nice again today around 1.5 to 2.5 meters in some sets, good wind direction and well perfect for a fun session. Ninja, Baba, Johnny and Alexis were out along with an Italian guest who had to turn in early due to a washing that left his sail in bits. Lots of riding going on, Alexis was really going for it as you can see from the pic of the day for today.

Alexis also landed his first front loop today in a short session in Little Reef on the way back from Manawa. Maximum respect mate nice one!

So here is photographic evidence that Svetlana can now ride a kite board hehe mabrook habipti. This is not the first run but the start of one of the first long runs she had across the lagoon. Congrats fish hope we can go again together soon.

Well its been quiet so far during February so the team at Club Mistral Mauritius has been fully clearing, renovating, re organising and painting the centre ready for the new season. In the next few days all will be finished and we look forward to seeing you here for some fun on the water be it kite, windsurfing or surfing.

Yesturday the weather turned very cloudy and dark. We managed to get a surf session in later in the day which was great. Svetlana came with us for her first tries and had a baptism of fire as Ninja, Baba, Alexis, Sandro and myself went to Plat en Rouge (not ideal for beginners). Anyway Svetlana caught her first wave there and managed to stand up maximum respect. The place we went to is a reef break, very shallow and the wave becomes very steep very quickly so to be taken there for your first time is pretty hard core.

The boat engineers came yesturday and put back the engines that they took up to the workshop for a big service which is great.

The weather also changed yesturday it went from being very humid to cloudy with rain showers and on inspection we discovered that there are a couple of cyclones near to us. So for now we wait to see what is going to happen and how close they will actually get.

Thats it for now, today is my free day along with Alexis and Johnny so we will see what the weather brings us. Right now a strong N wind is blowing so i think we will be able to get out on the water today somewhere.
