I am sure we all hope that 2010 produces some great windsurfing conditions wherever we all are in the world so with that thought in mind its time to raise a beer with friends and look forward to an amazing 2010.

Ever Wondered How Waves Work
Had a day off today and spent it at home chilling a bit, came across this website www.surfing-waves.com which has an interesting section on waves, the terminology, differences between different types of waves etc etc. So if you have ever wondered what we are all talking about when we waffle on about a point break (which is not a new kind of choco bar) or a fast left (not a reference to something motor sport related)then give the site a look its quite interesting.
Here it is again folks www.surfing-waves.com
Best wishes and happy windsurfing
Few Small Changes
Made a Few Small Changes
Just updated the site a little to clean it up a bit, more changes and new stuff on the way, its been ages since I found the time to add things to WindHut, got a bit distracted with Facebook. broken cameras etc etc but now back on the case.
If you have not visited before take your time and look around you might find some funny or interesting things among my waffle.
If you visit often thanks for your support and promise there will be some new content regularly from now on.
Take care and happy windsurfing
Buzz In The UK 2
Sorry to all for the lack of updates but I am on the move at the moment.
I left Dahab 14th June and travelled to The Club Mistral Head office in Munich. It was great to see the team in Germany and to be able to spend some time there. The weather was great sunny and warm humdulala.
Flew into the UK on the 16th and have been doing year end accounts for the business, catching up with friends and trying to find time to go windsurfing, weather allowing.
Yesturday 24th June finaly managed to get out with my good friend Fred who very kindly collected me and my kit and took me over to Shoreham down on the South Coast UK near Brighton. It wasn’t looking too promising to start with but the wind did kick in, until in the end I was overpowered on 5.8.
After the flat waters of Dahab it was great to get out in some good old south coast conditions, cross onshore from the right SW wind blowing a good 5 sometimes.
Have to say the local bunch at Shoreham are a very friendly bunch. Special thanks to the lady who made Fred and I a cup of much needed tea and furnished us with a kit kat. It was also great to see so many women out on the water. Would be great to see a few more kids out ripping it up, its a shame there are not more younger people visibly taking the sport up over here its a great way to stay fit and a great community spirited lifestyle.
Travel begins again on the 28th flying back to Germany to pick up some kit and move on to Karapathos where I will meet up with Bob, Manolis and Svetlana for a few weeks of windsurfing and Inshallah the opportunity to work on a few more pics, videos and tips with the guys for the site.
Wherever you are have a great summer wishing you all lots of sunny windy days out on the water with your friends.
Best regards and happy windsurfing.
Best regards and hugs to the team in Dahab
